Call Recording

Enable recording

  1. Enable recording on the PBX.
  2. Enable recording download to Odoo (PBX → Settings).
Recorded calls are uploaded to Odoo and attached to the call record.

Storage options

  • Odoo attachments (secured by Odoo ACLs)
  • Odoo DB (binary field)
  • S3 (via Odoo S3 module)
  • External HTTP storage (public link)

Permissions

  • PBX Admin: full access.
  • PBX User: recordings where the user made/received/was called.
  • PBX Supervisor: read access to all recordings.

FAQ

  • Recording tab not visible: user likely lacks access to that call.
